Front Desk - On Call

Reporting Manager: Building Manager

Job Description:
NAT URE OF WORK
The On-Call Front Desk Clerk is responsible for monitoring the security of the building, basic data entry, answering all incoming phone calls, attending to the walk-in public, and notifying the building manager of any emergencies.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answers and monitors incoming telephone calls.
• Greets and provides information and services to the walk-in public.
• Receives complaints from all CHDC managed or owned buildings.
• Transcribes recordings of letters and meeting minutes.
• Enters data into computer system.
• Basic typing, filing and copying as necessary.
• Additional task as assigned by Supervisor



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
One year of prior similar experience.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Ability to learn while on the job; good writing skills; ability to work independently and well under stress; interpersonal skills, good computer and word processing skills.

Senior Accountant

Reporting Manager: Director

Job Description: Nature of Work

The Senior Accountant is responsible for coordinating and maintaining all accounting activities concerning billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.



Responsibilities

· Corporate AR - Prepare all monthly, quarterly billing for main corporation including Partnership Management Fees, Property Management Fees, Repair and Maintenance Fees, Administering Agent Fees, Development Consulting Fees, etc. and maintain schedules

· Complete monthly Financial Reports for all entities for distribution to various interested and invested parties including clients

· Review monthly contract vouchers and reports prepared by Contracts Administrator

· Ensure all monthly utility payments including Con Edison, Real Estate Tax, Water & Sewer, Insurance are paid timely by Audit Bookkeeper and is accurately tracked

· Monitor AR, AP and General Ledger for deposit errors and entry errors, etc. Make necessary corrections

· Prepare wires and bank transfers

· Assist Director with monthly reconciliation and close procedures

· Assist Director in setting up quarterly financial reports for all LP’s

· Process annual journal entries to record depreciation, amortization and bad debt expense

· Assist Director in creating annual budgets and cash flow projections

· Assist Director in monitoring general ledger and various financial analyses

· Work with Director to complete quarterly and annual audits

· Ad hoc financial analysis as requested by Director



Minimum Qualifications



Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting plus Minimum three years of experience in not-for-profit organizational bookkeeping, including general ledger, accounts payables and receivables; or Masters Degree in Accounting plus one year of relevant work experience



Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

Computer literacy including MS Office; excellent organizational and mathematical skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; ability to meet deadlines; excellent oral and written communication skills

$60,000 annually
